One day I was walking along the road back from school. I heard whimpering by the end of the road and thought it was a dog. I wanted to take him home. I looked around the corner where the whimpering was much louder. I looked where I heard the dog, and it was empty. What a surprise! I thought for sure there was a dog in there. I knew that he would come back one day. As I turned to leave, the dog jumped on right on me! I was so happy! I walked home and I kept the dog!
