I was walking slowly through a construction ground, my yellow hat stuck to my head. I walk under the red ladder. After all, today can’t get any worse. My sister died, I got hit in the eye with some coins that dropped from the roof of the unfinished building, and my dog has to go through surgery. Two seconds later my life’s luck got worse, the yellow tape had faded around some wet cement and the step I took felt like non-Newtonian fluid around my legs. I was sinking in the pavement. I yelled for help but no one’s around.
